Kim Chapman

President & Chief Operating Officer (COO)

With over 30 years of experience in the medical field and 16 years dedicated specifically to clinical research, Kim Chapman is a seasoned leader and founder of a thriving clinical research organization. Throughout a distinguished career which spans across all phases of clinical research, she has developed deep expertise in regulatory compliance, complexities of trial operations, and the evolving landscape of clinical trials while upholding the highest standards of patient safety and data integrity.

As an entrepreneur, Kim successfully launched Frontier Clinical Research in 2016. Since inception, she has grown Frontier into six clinical research sites – building them from the ground up into efficient, compliant, and high-performing operations, including one in her hometown and several others across surrounding communities. This expansion reflects a strong commitment to advancing medical innovation and increasing access to high-quality research opportunities beyond traditional urban centers.

As a leader, Kim currently oversees and manage a team of 20 professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, integrity, and excellence. She has played a key role in scaling the business by building high-value sponsor and CRO partnerships, developing data-driven pipeline strategies, and designing systems that enable sustainable, and long-term growth. She is particularly passionate about bringing clinical research to underserved populations, ensuring that diverse communities have access to innovative treatments, and the opportunity to participate in advancing healthcare.

Driven by both experience and purpose, Frontier Clinical Research continues to play a vital role of bridging gaps in clinical research access while maintaining the highest standards of quality, results, strict regulatory adherence and patient care – ultimately, creating an environment where both patients and sponsors can place their trust.

Nina Morse

Clinical Operations Director

Nina Morse as the Clinical Operations Director at Frontier Clinical Research for the Pennsylvania and West Virginia sites. Nina brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our team. She began her career in the biological testing branch at the National Cancer Institute immediately after college. She then spent 15 years at the University of Pittsburgh, contributing significantly to research, management, and research administration within the Department of Medicine and the Divisions of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology, as well as Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Medicine. In 2018, Nina co-founded the University of Pittsburgh’s Single Cell Genomics Core Facility, marking a significant achievement in her career. Nina holds a Bachelor of Science in Natural Science with a Minor in Biology from Penn State University and an Executive MBA in Healthcare from The University of Pittsburgh’s Katz School of Business.
